38mm Shrouded Shackle Padlock – 4 Keys, Black Anti-Cut Steel Shed, Cabinet & Light Gate Lock

The 38mm Shrouded Steel Padlock is the small size in the shrouded range. The body shoulders rise up around the shackle so only a short span is exposed — the same principle as the bigger sizes, and the reason a shrouded lock resists bolt cutters better than an open-shackle padlock of the same width.

The cylinder takes a computer-cut key — a milled key track rather than a plain flat cut, which is harder to copy at a kiosk than a standard key. Four keys come in the box, so a household or a couple of vehicles can each carry one.

Match the lock to the job: at 38mm with a Ø6.3mm shackle this is a light-duty lock. It suits sheds, cabinets, lockers, tool boxes and light gate latches. For a yard gate, compound or container, step up to the 50mm or 75mm in this range — the 75mm runs a Ø11.8mm shackle.
