The 60mm Stainless Steel Closed Shackle Padlock is the one you fit and stop thinking about. The shackle is shrouded by the body, so there is barely enough exposed steel for a bolt cutter to bite, and at Ø12mm it is a substantially heavier shackle than a standard padlock of the same width.

What sets it apart internally is the double 304 stainless ball locking system — the shackle is held at both legs rather than one, which is what gives it its resistance to prying and hammering. Body, shackle and the internal discs are all 304 stainless, so it will not rust streaks down a gate or seize up after a wet winter.
