80mm Waterproof Covered Padlock – Coated Ø11.8mm Shackle, Sealed Steel Gate, Roller Door & Truck Box Lock

The 80mm Waterproof Covered Padlock is the largest of the covered range — the one to reach for when the job is too big for the 55 or the 70. The Ø11.8mm shackle is nearly half again the section of the 55mm’s, with 39mm of clearance instead of 27mm, so it takes a heavy hasp, a thick chain or a container lug that the smaller sizes simply will not fit around. At 804g on an 85 x 64 x 34 mm body, it is built to be the lock on the gate you actually worry about.

The weatherproofing is the same three-part job as the rest of the range: the steel body is sealed inside a moulded thermoplastic case, the hardened shackle is fully coated as well, and a weatherproof ring seals the shackle where it enters the body. Sealed at the body, sealed at the shackle, coated over the one part left exposed — rain, dust and grit stay out of the mechanism instead of seizing it up over a season. The coated case also stops the lock chewing up whatever it is fitted to. Suits gates and fencing, roller and rolling doors, patios, truck tool boxes, containers and site cabinets.
