80mm Prying-Resistant Solid Brass Padlock – Shutter, Container & Truck Box Block Lock

The 80mm Prying-Resistant Solid Brass Padlock is a block, not a conventional padlock. Instead of an exposed U-shackle, a Ø12mm hardened steel bolt slides across a slot cut into a solid brass body, so there is almost no exposed metal for a crowbar to lever against or a bolt cutter to reach. That is the whole point of the design, and it is why this style is the usual choice for roller shutters and container doors.

Behind it is a solid brass cylinder with brass pins and a 304 stainless spring, and a double brass bolt locking system that holds the bar at both ends. The solid brass body will not rust or streak, so it can live outside permanently. Fits roller and rolling shutters, container doors, hasp and staple, truck tool boxes, mesh gates and storeroom latches.

Check your fitting first: the slot opening is 28mm wide by 14mm high — measure your hasp or shutter latch before ordering.
