Premium 316 marine-grade stainless steel insect screen for coastal and bushfire-prone areas. Corrosion resistant, high strength, with a black powder-coat finish for clear views and reduced glare.

Bushfire & Standards Compliance

Manufactured to AS 3959:2018. With corrosion-resistant 316 stainless construction and a maximum aperture of 1.34 mm (below the 2 mm limit), this mesh meets the deemed-to-satisfy screening requirements for BAL-12.5, BAL-19, BAL-29 and BAL-40 bushfire attack levels.

Installation for BAL-40: fit externally in a metal frame using metal fixings; at BAL-40 both the openable sash and fixed glass panels must be screened. Not suitable for BAL-FZ (Flame Zone), which requires a fully fire-tested window/door system.
