Installation Tips

• Note which way the old spring sits before you take it out — fitted back to front it will not hold the door up into the top track.
• Do not stretch the spring to make it reach. If it will not sit at its natural length it is the wrong part.
• Check the spring compresses and returns freely once fitted, then slide the door through its full travel before refitting the stops.

Care & Maintenance

• Sweep the track out every few months, more often in coastal or dusty areas, and keep the spring dry — oil and grease only hold grit against it.
