Sliding door rollers and carriages: find the right replacement

A sliding door that drags, jumps the track or grinds usually has a worn roller. Measure the old carriage before you order. You need its overall length, the wheel diameter, the wheel profile (concave, convex or flat) and the load the door needs. Our rollers are rated from 12 kg to 40 kg. The Sliding Door Roller & Carriage Buying Guide explains how to measure each one.

Our rollers and carriages replace most A&L®, Bradnam’s®, Stegbar® and other Australian sliding door parts.

Sliding door roller FAQs

Should I replace the whole carriage or just the wheel?
If the housing is cracked or bent, replace the whole carriage. If it's sound, a new wheel and axle is cheaper.

Acetal or nylon wheels?
Both are common. Some nylon rollers carry a higher load rating than the acetal equivalent. Check the kg rating on each listing.

How do I know if it's concave or convex?
A concave wheel is grooved and runs on a raised track rail. A convex wheel is rounded and runs in a channel.
