Hardwood Laminated Panel Board | Sydney Rose Gum Grandis | GLFJ 18x300x1200mm

Built from multiple shorter lengths of plantation-grown Sydney Rose Gum (Eucalyptus grandis), finger-jointed and edge-glued into a stable 18mm hardwood panel. You get the warmth and durability of real Australian hardwood — rich pinks through to soft reddish-browns, visible finger joints and natural grain movement — in a size and weight that’s easy to handle and easy to work.

At around 4.2kg a panel, it’s a favourite for caravan and tiny-home joinery, fit-outs and renovations — genuine hardwood benchtops, shelving and cabinetry without the weight penalty of a solid slab or stone. Character grade, so no two panels look the same.

Finishing & Care

Seal all faces, edges and cut ends with oil, wax, varnish or paint before use — timber responds to heat and humidity, so pre-treat everything, including any cut edges, immediately after cutting. Store flat and allow the panel to acclimatise indoors for at least 48 hours before fitting. For internal use in dry conditions; seal thoroughly anywhere near moisture.

Warranty & Consumer Guarantees

Backed by a 3-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Sold as natural, unfinished hardwood — colour variation, gum vein and character marks are features of the grade, not defects, and aren’t covered. As durability depends on correct finishing and care, please seal and maintain the panel as directed. This warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which include guarantees that cannot be excluded.
