    Perforated Aluminium Security Mesh – Full 3 Metre Sheet

    The full length 3 metre sheet, 1220mm wide – our largest perforated aluminium panel. Covers a full height opening in a single piece with no join, which is why fabricators specify it for tall screens, feature panels and continuous runs.

    This listing is for collection from our Sunshine West VIC warehouse, with 24 hours notice. Buy a single sheet or any quantity you need – there is no minimum on pickup.

    For delivery, see the delivered listing for this size. At 3 metres the sheet cannot be rolled and is over the length limit for standard couriers, so it ships flat in a wrapped pack of 2 on our oversize length service – the wrap is what protects the faces and edges in transit.

    No Join, Full Height

    At 3 metres this sheet covers a full height door or window screen in one piece. Standard 2000mm and 2400mm sheets require a join on tall openings, which creates a visible line and a weak point in the panel. This size removes both.

    Standards

    Manufactured to the mesh specification used in security screen systems tested to AS 5039. Compliance with AS 5039 applies to the complete framed assembly – mesh, frame, fixings and retention method – and must be verified for the finished system. This product is sold as mesh only.

    With a 2mm aperture, this sheet meets the maximum 2mm aperture AS 3959 specifies for bushfire screening. Aluminium mesh is accepted under AS 3959 for bushfire rated screening up to BAL-29 when installed in a compliant frame and assembly. For BAL-40 and BAL-FZ, AS 3959 requires corrosion resistant steel or bronze – use our 316 stainless steel security mesh for those applications.

    Fixing

    Retained in the frame channel with aluminium beading to suit 1.8mm sheet – also known as a security mesh wedge. Suits a standard 70mm door frame, sold separately in 3 metre lengths, and screwed or riveted into place.
