This large pet door fits barrier (security) screen doors and flyscreen doors: it needs a 325 mm wide x 462 mm high cut-out, has a 260 x 400 mm flap opening and suits pets 23 to 50 kg. The frame is 353 x 490 mm overall in Primrose®.

Which size do I need?
Choose by your pet. The Large size suits large dogs such as Labradors, Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds, Boxers and Huskies (23 to 50 kg). Small suits pets up to 9 kg, Medium 9 to 22 kg and Large 23 to 50 kg. Measure your pet’s shoulder width and height and check they clear the flap opening with room to spare.

- Stainless steel mesh doors: 6 mm foam spacer tape fills the gap between frame and mesh

Cut a 325 mm wide x 462 mm high opening in the screen door mesh. The frame covers the cut edges, so the overall size on the door is 353 x 490 mm. Mark the cut-out low enough that your pet can step through comfortably.
The large size has a 260 x 400 mm flap opening and suits pets 23 to 50 kg, typically large dogs such as Labradors, Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds, Boxers and Huskies. If your pet is near the top of that range, choose the next size up.
Yes. On a standard flyscreen (insect screen) door the soft mesh needs support, so fit the large L-bracket adaptor in the corner of the frame. Security and stainless mesh doors do not need the bracket.
No. The pet door is designed to be fitted with the screen door in place. The two halves of the frame clamp through the cut-out from each side.
