Frequently asked questions
The universal closer and the hold-open closer both suit hinged flyscreen and security screen doors up to 20 kg. For heavier steel or aluminium security doors, choose the heavy duty pneumatic closer, which is rated to 45 kg.
Open the door to where you want it to stay, then slide the washer along the exposed rod until it sits against the end of the cylinder. The washer stops the rod retracting and holds the door open. Open the door slightly further and the washer drops back so the door closes normally again.
Match the closer to your door frame so it disappears against it. Both closers come in Black, Primrose® and White, the most common screen and security door frame colours in Australia. The cylinder and both brackets are finished in the same colour.
