The TradeBase Under-Handle Lock Guard installs between your lock handle assembly and the inside of the door to prevent intruders reaching the snib or a key left in the cylinder. Made from high-strength 4 mm polycarbonate, it’s tough, UV-stable, and almost invisible once fitted.

Installation (Summary)

1. Remove the lock handle screws (hold the outside handle with masking tape).

2. Remove the inside handle assembly.

3. Position the Lock Guard between the handle and the door frame on the inside of the door.

4. Re-attach the handle assembly, ensuring the connecting rod is reinserted and the snib re-aligns correctly.

5. Square the guard and tighten screws (remove masking tape before final tightening).

Note: Ensure the handle screw length engages firmly when reassembled. Security door locks are not fully secured unless locked internally with the key.
