Guides are the part that fails on a sliding door of this type — the panel itself stays true, but the small plastic guide at the floor or against the architrave takes every knock, wears a groove, splits or breaks off its fixing, and once it is gone the door swings at the bottom and rubs the jamb. Because this is a kit covering both the floor and the architrave positions, work out which one you are replacing before ordering, and measure the thickness of the door panel the guide has to straddle along with the fixing centres of the old guide. Profiles vary between systems, so compare the broken part rather than the door brand.
