Shower screen blocks are the parts TradeBase lists to suit Norfe™ framed screens — three in total. Two are pick-up blocks, one black and one white, and the third is a set of three sill blocks in black. All three also replace Ideal™, Regency™, Showerite™ and BGC® blocks, which share the same fitment. A range this narrow says exactly where a framed screen wears: the plastic block the sliding panel picks up on, and the blocks in the bottom sill that locate and carry the panel, take the whole load and eventually crack, wear flat or fall out, after which the door rattles or jumps the sill. Before ordering, take the old block out and match it on shape and thickness rather than by the screen, and match the colour — black and white are not interchangeable on a visible sill.
