Two parts on this page replace Vincent™ window hardware: a keyed window catch and spring, and a replacement roller that also suits Stegbar®, Trend® and Capral™ windows. The catch and spring covers older Trend springs as well. Both items are small, and both are what actually fails on an older aluminium sliding window — the catch spring loses tension until the sash will not stay locked, and the roller wears flat or seizes so the window turns heavy to slide. The frame usually outlasts both. Neither part can be identified from the window brand alone, so take the old one out and compare it directly: for the roller, measure the wheel diameter and the width of the body that sits in the sash; for the catch, check whether the original was keyed, since keyed and non-keyed versions are not the same part.
