TradeBase makes direct replacement hardware to suit Whitco® windows and security doors — 104 window winders, 27 security door locks and a range of hinges and snibs. The winders are the bulk of it: they replace the Whitco® MK8 family and the standard non-locking chainwinder, matching the mounting holes, chain coupling and key-barrel cut-out so the unit swaps over without modifying the frame. To order, stand inside the room and note which side of the frame the winder body sits on for hand, then measure the existing chain. Pool-zone and upper-storey windows need a restricted chain.
