Installation Tips

• Note which way the old guide sits before you take it out — a spring-loaded guide fitted the wrong way round will not hold the door into the track.
• Clean the bottom track out before refitting. Grit packed in the channel makes the door jam and wears the guide flat.
• Check the spring moves freely once the guide is in, then slide the door through its full travel before refitting the stops.

Care & Maintenance

• Sweep the track out every few months, more often in coastal or dusty areas, and keep the spring dry — oil and grease only hold grit against it.
