Frequently asked questions
A hopper hatch lets you open and close an awning, hopper or casement window from inside when a security screen is fitted over it. You open the small flap, reach through and turn the winder or handle.
Cut a 178 x 178 mm square in the security screen mesh, centred over the window handle or winder. The frame is 198 x 198 mm overall and the flap opening is 114 x 100 mm.
No. The 114 x 100 mm opening is sized for a hand to reach the window handle, not for pets. For pet access use a pet door for security screen doors.
